Dead to sin alive to God Romans 6:11

This is ONE of my very favorite verses. After reading this its almost like I'm holding a remote and I can just click it and change the channel. When I'm tempted to think bad thoughts about myself or my loved ones I just hit click.   currently im being tempted to be afraid, there's a thunderstorm and man am i scared....its in these little moments, whether I feel scared, helpless, jealous, like a little child trembling I reach out and the Holy Spirits comforts me with His word and reassures me, renews my thoughts, changes the channel.
